Founded in 2025, Stony Stratford Emporium is an independent artisan shop in the heart of Stony Stratford, created to support and showcase local makers, artists and creators. Founded in 2025, Stony Stratford Emporium is an independent artisan shop in the heart of Stony Stratford, created to support and showcase local makers, artists and creators. Our aim is to provide a welcoming bricks-and-mortar retail space alongside an online presence where handcrafted, small-batch and locally made products can be discovered and enjoyed.
The Emporium is home to a carefully curated mix of independent traders offering a wide range of handmade and creative goods. These include natural soaps and body care, crocheted toys, shawls and bags, practical tote bags and bottle carriers, hand-turned wooden bowls, candlesticks and plates, eco-resin and resin figures and accessories, original design T-shirts and hoodies.
We are also proud to stock a unique artefact section for history lovers and collectors, featuring authentic Medieval, Roman and Saxon pieces. For younger visitors, our children’s section offers jewellery and toys at pocket-money prices, making the Emporium a destination for all ages.

For collectors and history lovers, we offer a carefully curated selection of Roman, Medieval and Saxon artefacts, including jewellery, pottery and coins. New pieces are added weekly, making every visit a chance to discover something different. We are always happy to view metal-detector finds and may exchange or purchase artefacts of interest.

Paul is relatively new to this type of work, but boy has he mastered it beautifully. The craftsmanship is incredible and any of these pieces would look good in a modern or traditional home.

Filip provides us with fun t-shirts that appeal to aquatics hobbyists and metal detectorists, for adults and kids.
He uses high quality cotton t-shirts and prints his own designs onto them. He has a fast turn-around too, so if you place an order - you will receive them quickly!
